Bereavement Leave
CFTS recognises that the loss of a family member or close relative is a difficult time for any employee. The company aims to provide reasonable support and flexibility during such circumstances.
Employees who experience a bereavement may request leave in order to attend to personal matters, family responsibilities, or funeral arrangements. The duration and nature of such leave will normally be discussed with management based on the circumstances involved.
Where possible, employees should inform their supervisor or management as soon as practical so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
CFTS will approach such situations with understanding and discretion while also considering the operational requirements of the organisation.
